LUXEMBOURG STOCK EXCHANGE DE LISTING

At the request of Griffin Mining Limited ("Griffin") the Company's ordinary
shares will be withdrawn from the Official List of the Luxembourg Stock
Exchange as from 30 December 1998.
 
The Company's shares and warrants continue to be quoted on the Alternative
Investment Market ("AIM") of the London Stock Exchange and traded on the
Canadian Dealing Network of the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The Company's warrants cease to be exercisable after 31 December 98 and their
quotation on AIM and the Canadian Dealing Network will cease from that date.

No trading in either Griffin's shares or warrants have taken place on the
Luxembourg Stock Exchange for the past two years. Accordingly, the Directors
of Griffin have concluded that the costs of maintaining the Luxembourg Stock
Exchange listing provides no benefit to the Company, its shareholders or
warrant holders.
