                            CREST DEPOSITORY INTERESTS


Griffin Mining Limited ("Griffin" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that
with effect from today interests in the Company's ordinary shares may be held
and transferred within the CREST electronic settlement system, pursuant to a
depository interest arrangement established by Griffin, which is incorporated in
Bermuda.

The Company has arranged for Capita IRG Trustees Limited (the "Issuer") to issue
depository interests in respect of the underlying ordinary shares (the "
Depository Interests") which may then be held and transferred within CREST.

The Depository Interests will carry the same ISIN number (BMG319201049) as
Griffin ordinary shares.  Shareholders may continue to hold and transfer Griffin
shares by way of the CREST residual settlement mechanism should they wish to.

Griffin is the first Bermuda Company with its shares listed or traded in London
to secure CREST settlement.
