SHARE PRICE MOVEMENTS


The Directors of Griffin Mining Limited have noted the recent rise in the
price of Griffin ordinary shares. The Directors also note press comment this
morning anticipating good news on Griffin's Caijiaying zinc project in China.
Since the announcement on 15th July 1999 which included details of a
substantial grade increase at Caijiaying, there have been no specific
developments at Caijiaying requiring announcement.
