Jupiter International Green Investment Trust PLC ('JIGIT') has today received
notification from Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited that they purchased
1,659,522 Ordinary 25p shares in JIGIT on 7th September 1999 on behalf of
Aberdeen High Income Trust Plc.  Aberdeen High Income Trust Plc now holds
2,209,522 Ordinary 25p shares in JIGIT representing 8.05% of the issued share
capital of that class (previously 2%).

Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited also informed JIGIT that they sold 1,659,522
Ordinary 25p shares in JIGIT on 7th September 1999, on behalf of Aberdeen
Preferred Income Trust Plc who now hold 0 Ordinary shares in JIGIT.

The total number of Ordinary shares managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited
and its associated companies remains 5,059,522 representing 18.43% of the
issued share capital of that class.
