Govett Enhanced Investment Trust - Ordinary 1p Shares
Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited write to inform you they acquired 3,400,000
shares of the above company on the 17th March 1999, as a result of a placing, on
behalf of Aberdeen High Income Trust Plc.
Aberdeen High Income Trust plc now holds 3,400,000 shares representing 7.50% of
the issued share capital of that class (previously 0.00%).
Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited also write to inform you that they acquired
3,400,000 shares of the above company on the 17th March 1999, as a result of a
placing, on behalf of Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust Plc.
Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust plc now holds 3,400,000 shares representing
7.50% of the issued share capital of that class (previously 0.00%).
In a further transaction Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited also acquired 3,000,000
shares of the above company on the 17th March 1999, as a result of a placing, on
behalf of Enhanced Zero Investment Trust Plc.
Enhanced Zero Investment Trust Plc now holds 3,000,000 shares representing 6.61%
of the issued share capital of that class (previously 0.00%).
The total number of shares now managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited and
its associated companies is 10,000,000 shares representing 22.05% of the issued
share capital of that class (previously 0.00%).
A SAR3 has been faxed to the Stock Exchange as notification of this transaction.
