CLIENTS SALE OF 430,000 CAPITAL SHARES ON 7 DECEMBER 2000 ABERDEEN ASSET
MANAGERS LIMITED HAS A NON-BENEFICIAL NOTIFIABLE INTEREST IN 18,855,981 CAPITAL
SHARES OF 0.1 PENCE COMPRISING 22.18% OF THE ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL OF THIS CLASS
AND 21,347,216 INCOME SHARES OF 0.1 PENCE COMPRISING 25.11% OF THE ISSUED SHARE
CAPITAL OF THAT CLASS. THE RESULTANT TOTAL VOTING SHARES MANAGED BY ABERDEEN
