Jupiter International Green Investment Trust plc ('The Company') has today
received notification from Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited, that they sold
750,000 Ordinary shares on 17th August 2000 on behalf of Aberdeen High Income
Trust plc.

Aberdeen High Income Trust plc now holds 749,522 shares representing 2.73% of
the issued share capital of that class.

Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited also sold 750,000 Ordinary shares on 17th
August 2000, on behalf of Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust.

Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust now holds 610,000 representing 2.22% of the
issued share capital of that class.

The total number of shares now managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited and
its associated companies is 3,559,522 shares representing 12.97% of the issued
share capital of that class.
