DARTMOOR INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

The Company has today been informed of the following transaction by Aberdeen
Asset Managers Ltd:

On 25 February 2000, Aberdeen High Income Trust Plc sold 4,000,000 ordinary
10p shares (representing 4.53% of the issued share capital of that class). 
Aberdeen High Income Trust Plc Ltd now holds 2,340,000 ordinary 10p shares
(representing 2.65% of the issued share capital of that class).

On 25 February 2000, Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust Plc sold 5,000,000
ordinary 10p shares (representing 5.66% of the issued share capital of that
class).  Aberdeen Preferred Income Trust Plc now holds 2,815,000 ordinary 10p
shares (representing 3.19% of the issued share capital of that class).

On 25 February 2000, Leveraged Income Fund Ltd sold 4,000,000 ordinary 10p
shares (representing 4.53% of the issued share capital of that class). 
Leveraged Income Fund Ltd now holds 4,855,000 ordinary 10p shares
(representing 5.50% of the issued share capital of that class).

On 25 February 2000, The European Technology and Income Company Ltd purchased
13,000,000 ordinary 10p shares (representing 14.72% of the issue share capital
of that class).  The European Technology and Income Company Ltd now holds
13,000,000 ordinary 10p shares (representing 14.72% of the issue share capital
of that class.

The total number of shares managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd and its
associated companies is 24,870,944 shares (representing 28.17% of the issued
share capital of that class).
