LANDI RENZO: preliminary results as at 30 June 2013
Cavriago (RE), 10 July 2013 Landi Renzo announces that, based on the preliminary results which will be examined by Board of Directors within law terms, 2013 first half revenues will be approximately around 112 million euro. Several factors have impacted on the market in certain geographical areas: Italy and some European areas have been affected by the economic crisis; extremely relevant geopolitical factors have produced adverse effects on the sector in question in some markets in Asia and South America. Stefano Landi, chairman and CEO of the Group, states that "In spite of these difficult times, the market of alternative fuels still provides good chances for the sector and the Group, as also demonstrated by the investments Car Manufacturers are making and by the increasing projects intended for the use of LPG/CNG for transportation, which are being started in many Countries. Actually, the Landi Group confirms its development strategies, both in terms of important strategic investments, such as the new Research centre, to be operational from the second half of 2013, and of additional measures to increase efficiency." The Group, therefore, expects to end 2013 with revenues ranging from 210 to 240 million euro, compared to the 280 million euro forecasted at the beginning of the year, and with an EBITDA margin ranging from 3% to 6%, compared to the 10% forecasted at the beginning of the year.
