Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (G&W) today announced the
appointments of Thomas D. Savage as Chief Financial Officer and
Sarah A. Greene as Senior Vice President and Controller.

Mr. Savage was previously Senior Vice President of Corporate
Development and Treasurer. He has worked in finance and mergers
& acquisitions since joining G&W in 2005 and has been
responsible for G&W’s treasury functions since 2012. He is
based at G&W’s corporate headquarters in Darien, Conn. Mr.
Savage has a bachelor's degree in economics from Colby College and
an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Ms. Greene previously served as Vice President and Corporate
Controller since 2016. She joined G&W in 2006 as Controller of
Financial Reporting & Analysis and is based at G&W’s
administrative offices in Rochester, N.Y. She is a Certified Public
Accountant and earned both her bachelor’s degree in professional
accounting and an MBA from Michigan State University.
Mr. Savage and Ms. Greene succeed Timothy J. Gallagher and
Christopher F. Liucci, respectively, who departed G&W following
its sale to Brookfield Infrastructure and GIC, which resulted in
G&W becoming a private company.
