HONG KONG, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On October 20, 2005, INTAC International, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTN; FSE: WKN 805768) (the "Company") a leading provider of a full range of integrated educational and career development services in China, today announced that its subsidiary, Beijing Intac Purun Educational Development Ltd. ("Intac Purun"), has expanded its agreement with the Education Management Information Center ("EMIC") of the Ministry of Education of China (the "MOE") to cooperate with the EMIC's China Employment Service Information Network for Graduates of China's Higher Education Institutions, which operates on the http://www.myjob.edu.cn/ ("MyJob") website. MyJob will provide employment information services to graduates of China's higher education institutions nationwide, and will contain information on over 3.5 million students in China scheduled to graduate in the 2005-2006 school year. The MyJob database will be combined with the database of 3.3 million graduates previously made available by the EMIC to Intac Purun to produce the most comprehensive career development database in China. The EMIC has chosen Intac Purun as its exclusive partner in developing and maintaining the MyJob database to help graduates of higher education institutions obtain employment. Under Intac Purun's existing relationship with the EMIC, Intac Purun had been granted exclusive access to the database on university graduates maintained by the EMIC for use by Intac Purun in providing job training and placement services. Under the new expanded agreement, the EMIC has commissioned Intac Purun to collect data and develop businesses pertaining to employer recruitment and student placement through the use of the MyJob website. The services to be provided to MyJob by Intac Purun will include: * collecting employer recruitment information; * conducting recruitment services for employers; * providing individualized SMS, evaluation and career guidance services to students; * collecting data on 2006 graduates; and * continuing to provide technical support to MyJob. "This agreement gives INTAC the opportunity to strengthen its relationship with the MOE and to further expand and commercialize its existing student database," said Wei Zhou, Chairman and CEO of INTAC. "We are pleased to continue to work with the MOE in this expanded partnership, which will certainly provide us with more business opportunities in China's fast growing education market." "After collecting the data on the 2006 graduates in China, which is estimated to be around 3.5 to 4.0 million students, MyJob will have the largest database of the 2006 graduate student population in China," says Mr. Liou, senior officer of the EMIC. Although Intac Purun intends to continue to pursue providing career training and job placement services through its website phr.bank.com , Intac Purun believes that the expanded relationship with the EMIC will help Intac Purun develop these career development services by enhancing branding recognition and through access to the MyJob database.
