Video Display Corporation (Nasdaq:VIDE), a worldwide leader in providing specialized display solutions for Medical, Industrial, Simulation and Military applications and MiTAC Information Technology Corporation of Taiwan, ROC, a global leader in System Integration and WAN/LAN ICT networking technology, are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement that appoints Aydin Visual Solutions (AVS), a subsidiary of Video Display Corporation, as the North American Distributor of MiTAC's revolutionary MiStream products. These robust networking solutions allow for cost effective and secure transmission of content between WAN and LAN environments across both wired and wireless (WiFi) networks. This agreement enables AVS to market, sell, install, support and maintain MiTAC's MiStream products throughout North America, including the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The Agreement provides the vehicle for Aydin Visual Solutions, a subsidiary of VDC to introduce the MiStream products into both the existing VDC markets as well as new expanded markets, including control rooms, indoor and outdoor digital signage, hospitality, medical, government and educational applications. AVS will provide customers a full "turnkey" solution that includes comprehensive design and service support encompassing advanced display solutions, as well as the ability to transport high quality imagery across a variety of network applications and environments and manage content from both fixed and mobile devices.

"VDC sees this agreement as a strategic move to combine the best display solutions in the industry with leading edge networking and wireless technology to form the most cost effective and advanced turnkey solutions in the industry. Our new partnership with MiTAC, a world recognized leader in the networking and wireless technology field is a strategic move that complements our business very well and provides the basis for phenomenal growth in not only control rooms, but a number of industries that manage and display a wide variety of content across their secure networks. We are very pleased about this new Agreement and look forward to an exciting and successful future with MiTAC. MiTAC is recognized as one of the premier ICT system integrators in the world.  The signing of this Agreement is another significant step toward meeting our strategic corporate marketing plan that provides sustainable growth for VDC's Aydin Visual Solutions Group," says David Heiden, President and COO of VDC.

"For MiTAC this is a strategic move to develop and strengthen our position in the North American market and to provide North American customers with cost effective and highly configurable network solutions.
