LONDON-- U.K. supermarket group Tesco PLC (TSCO.LN) Thursday said its chairman John Allan bought 15,000 shares at 188.73 pence a share.

Shares at 1032 GMT, up 0.25%, at181 pence valuing the company at GBP14.77 billion.
