have entered into the final stages of completion for their first
Licensing Agreement in Mexico.
Once completed, the Licensing Agreement will allow for High
Performance Beverage to be manufactured, distributed and sold
throughout the country of Mexico and will be spearheaded by one of
the largest olive oil and beverage distributors in the
country.
Toby McBride, High Performance Beverage CEO, stated, "Several
months ago, we were approached by a large Mexican manufacturer and
distributor who saw a need for our product. The country of Mexico
supports a very robust sports program for amateur and professional
athletes in soccer, boxing and baseball, and a need for our sports
drink was quickly identified because of our proven benefits and the
limited sports drink competition in that country. Initially,
we were contemplating a distribution deal, but quickly realized
that a Licensing Agreement would be better suited considering our
partner has the ability to manufacture our High Performance Sports
Drink with our high quality control standards. By licensing our
product, we will not have to worry about the intensive capital that
would ordinarily be necessary in order to meet their current
projected supply and demand needs. We are negotiating a yearly
licensing fee over the next 5 years and a percentage of every case
sold."
The Company expects to finalize its Licensing Agreement over the
course of the next 30 days and considers this Agreement to be a
gateway into more Central and South American countries.
