Swedish ball-bearing maker SKF AB (SKF-B.SK) said Wednesday that the sale of its metallic rods business to US-based Precision Castparts Corp. (PCP) has now closed.

 
   MAIN FACTS: 

-Precision Castparts Corp. acquired the operations for around EUR40 million on a cash and debt free basis.

-At 0810 GMT shares traded 1.7% lower at SEK157.
