Frank Sadlier Dinger, Chairman of William H. Sadlier, Inc. (“Sadlier”) (OTCPNK:SADL), and William Sadlier Dinger, President, announced on August 12, 2010 that Rosemary Calicchio has been appointed to the new position, Executive Vice President and Publisher, leading a strategically realigned Publishing Division that includes the Publications, Electronic Media, Planning, and Publishing Operations Departments. The directors of these departments now report to Ms. Calicchio and work with her to ensure the coordinated development of quality products for Sadlier’s present and future markets.

Ms. Calicchio explained that this realignment “aims at effectively utilizing the knowledge and expertise of every staff member.” Commenting on the change, Frank Dinger explained: “We are clear on our vision and we have the right executive team with the experience, knowledge, and expertise needed to achieve our goals."

William Dinger added: “These changes will help Sadlier continue to harness developing technologies, broaden recognition of its brands in targeted markets, and create greater value for shareholders, customers, and employees. With her extensive experience and skills, Rosemary is uniquely qualified to bring this vision to fruition.”

Ms. Calicchio joined Sadlier in 1999 as Editorial Director and in 2003 was appointed to the new position of Vice President Publications Sadlier. For the past eleven years she has been responsible for the development, design, and publication of Sadlier’s catechetical and sacramental preparation programs. Foremost among these is Sadlier’s recently published We Believe with Project Disciple program for schools, parishes and bilingual programs.

Ms. Calicchio’s publishing career began at Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich in New York City after a solid foundation of teaching at most levels from Montessori preschool to calculus, working summers as a computer programmer, and teaching in many SAT and GED programs. During her 30 years in publishing, she also worked at Prentice Hall, Sunburst Communications, and Cuisenaire Company of America, and served as Vice President, Publisher, and General Manager at Pearson with responsibility for a range of subjects, including language arts, reading, mathematics, and social studies.
