Renewal Fuels Announces Engagement of John R. Hegstad as General Manager of Renewal Biodiesel Subsidiary

Renewal Fuels, Inc. (OTCBB:RNWF), a biofuels company supplying the
nation's growing need for energy independence, today announced the
engagement of John R. (J.R.) Hegstad to lead the Company�s Renewal
Fuels subsidiary as General Manager. A veteran marketing executive,
Mr. Hegstad will be instrumental in the Company�s aggressive
commercialization strategy for its FuelMeister line of products.
Prior to his position at Renewal Fuels, Mr. Hegstad was the Vice
President of Marketing at Nextep Corporation, where he built a
14,000 retail location distribution system for several Brawny brand
products. He also licensed with Black & Decker Corporation to
develop a sales program and sales strategy to gain distribution
through an extensive network of specialty hardware stores and
national chains. �J.R. has demonstrated excellent strategic
foresight and commercialization abilities,� said John King, Chief

average cost of $0.70-$0.85 per gallon. Mr. Hegstad also served as
Director of Marketing at Ames TrueTemper Corporation, where he
handled product development, marketing programs and advertising for
one of the largest non-powered tool makers in the world. Prior to
that position, he served as Director of Marketing and Account
Management at Lebanon Seaboard, and as Sales and Business Manager
at Warner Lambert. Mr. Hegstad will lead the Renewal Biodiesel team
in the growth of the FuelMeister business, which has already sold
more than 2,000 units over the past 2� years. The FuelMeister is a
