TRV Trivello Energy Inc.

Trivello Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TRV) ("Trivello" or the "Company") announces
that a partner meeting was held on September 11, 2008 pertaining to the
Company's Lucy Gas Property in the Horn River region of northeast British
Columbia, Canada. At the meeting, the partners discussed and finalized the
completion plans for one of the Company's two Gas Test Wells drilled.


The completion program involves a vertical Fracture Stimulation (or "Frac") on
the a-79-A/94-P-04 Gas Test Well. The operator is currently sourcing services
and material needed in order to conduct this operation. The Company anticipates
the Frac to be conducted in late November, early December, 2008. Upon a
successful stimulation, the operator will test flare the well over an allowable
time in order to obtain test flow rates needed to determine sufficient economic
deliverability of gas in order to make the decision to tie the well into a
nearby gas pipeline traversing the Lucy property.


This planned test and development program could be one of the first in the Horn
River region to be put on commercial production and would begin to validate the
overall reserves in the area. Upon a successful completion, the Lucy prospect
will become one of Trivello's major assets for production or disposition in the
near term.


Trivello recently received approval for its "experimental scheme license for the
exploration and development of Horn River shale gas" from B.C. Oil and Gas
Commission ("OGC"). The Company owns an earned 10% working Interest in the Lucy
Property consisting of three sections of land.
