Rockridge Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE: RRC) ("Rockridge", the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Richard Williams, M.Sc., P.Geo. has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Williams is a Professional Geologist with 21 years experience in gold mining and precious and base metal mineral exploration in southern Africa, the Americas and southern Europe. Since 2004, Richard has served as CEO and Director of Helio Resource Corp, which is actively exploring the SMP Gold Project in Tanzania.

Richard graduated from Portsmouth University, UK with a B.Sc. Honours degree in 1988, before becoming a mine geologist in South Africa. In 1993, he completed a Master's degree in Mineral Exploration at Queen's University, Ontario, and spent the following 10 years involved in exploration in the Americas.

Rockridge President Karl Kottmeier commented, "I am very pleased that Richard has agreed to join the board of the Company as an independent director. Richard is a well respected geologist and brings a wealth of experience in mineral exploration, project management, finance and administration to the board of Rockridge."

Rockridge is currently completing a 5000 metre drill program at the highly prospective Fatou gold project. Fatou is located in southern Mali, approximately 20 kilometres north of the border between Mali and Cote d'Ivoire, and approximately 250 kilometres southeast of the capital city of Bamako.

The Qualified Person for Rockridge Capital Corp. under National Instrument 43-101 is Mr. Lorne Warner, P.Geo.
