2014 /PRNewswire/ - LONGREACH OIL AND GAS LIMITED (TSX-V:
LOI) (the "Company" or "Longreach") announces
the resignation of Jonathan
Morley-Kirk from the Board of Directors (the "Board")
as well as from his position as Chief Financial Officer
("CFO") and Secretary of the Company. The Board has
appointed Martin Arch, who held the
position of controller with Longreach, as the Company's new CFO and
Secretary. Mr. Arch, a Chartered Accountant, is a Member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified with Pawley and Malyon
before joining KPMG. In 2008 he joined Sterling Energy Plc, and
held the role of Group Financial Controller from 2009 - 2011. He
subsequently joined James Walker Group Limited in November 2011, prior to joining Longreach in
September 2013 as the Company
controller.
The Company expects a brief transition period
during which Mr. Arch will assume his new
responsibilities. Management extends its thanks to Mr.
Morley-Kirk for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well
in his career.
