China Minerals Mining Corporation ("China Minerals" or the "Company") (TSX
VENTURE:CMV)(PINKSHEETS:HWTHF) is pleased to announce the engagement of Equity
Exploration Consultants Ltd. ("Equity Exploration") to evaluate the Company's
wholly owned Cassiar Gold Corporation assets in planning for an upcoming summer
2012 exploration drilling program. The Cassiar Gold project comprises the Taurus
Deposit, the Table Mountain Gold Mine, and nearly 60,000 hectares of contiguous
prospective exploration properties which are easily road accessible in Northern
British Columbia. 


Cassiar encompasses an entire orogenic gold district with classic greenstone
belt geology which has significant historical production. With over 1 million
ounces in N.I. 43-101 compliant resources already defined, the project has high
potential for the discovery of both bulk tonnage and high grade underground
mineable vein systems to augment and upgrade the resource base. The properties
have only limited exploration beyond areas of previous mining and resource
definition, and many areas of mineralization are open, including most parts of
the large Taurus resource. Near term production upside is possible at the
company's fully owned and permitted mill which is currently on care and
maintenance.


Equity Exploration will conduct over the short term an evaluation program of
data compilation and interpretation of the extensive geological database for the
project, with the objective of recommending a summer drilling program. This
initial work is planned to be followed by drill core evaluation and remapping on
site at the project to further enhance targeting and identify additional
prospective areas. Equity Exploration provides a talented and efficient
exploration team who has a focus on B.C. and Yukon geology, and an ideal
background in assessment of both early stage and advanced targets, such as are
present in the project area. The work will also be guided by David Rhys, P. Geo,
who is an advisor to the Company and who has extensive experience in the
structural evaluation of similar styles of gold districts globally. The ease of
road access and at Table Mountain modern underground workings provide quick
access to the principal target areas that will allow rapid and cost effective
exploration of the project.

evaluation and drill program implementation of large vein-gold systems. We
believe this evaluation program will be the first step in starting the Company
along the path to the rebirth of this very promising mining district."


Further updates on the planning for the exploration and development of the Table
Mountain Gold Mine and the Taurus Gold Project will be announced as information
is made available. The Company also continues to evaluate acquisition
opportunities.
