LONDON, ON, Aug. 11, 2014 /CNW/ - Carrington Acquisition Corporation of London Ontario (NEX:CAQ.H) ("Carrington") - The Alberta Securities Commission ("ASC") staff have issued a Notice of Hearing against Douglas Gordon Campbell a director of Carrington.

The ASC staff allege that one of Mr. Campbell's companies engaged in illegal distribution of securities and made misrepresentations about the risk of the investments.  In addition the ASC staff allege that one of Mr. Campbell's companies also made misrepresentations related to the use and security of certain investment funds.  Neither transaction is related to Carrington.

The allegations have not been proven and at such time as they are proven Mr. Campbell will resign as a director of Carrington.
