TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Russel Metals Inc.
(TSX: RUS) today announced the promotion of John G. Reid to President and Chief Operating
Officer of the Company, effective as of January 1, 2016. Mr. Reid has over 22 years
of industry experience and has served as the Company's Chief
Operating officer since 2013. Mr. Reid will report directly
to Brian R. Hedges, Chief Executive
Officer of the Company.
Mr. Reid started with JMS Metals Services in 1991 and was
elevated to President of JMS in 1994. Russel Metals acquired
JMS in 2007 and since then Mr. Reid has been given additional
responsibilities within the Russel Metals' operations.
