Mr Graham Stow, a director of The Chepstow Racecourse PLC ("Chepstow" or "the
Company"), notified the Company today that on 10 December 2003 he purchased 2000
ordinary shares, at 226 pence per share.

Following this transaction Mr Graham Stow is beneficially interested in 4000
ordinary shares representing 0.01 per cent of Chepstow's issued share capital.
