Vortex Energy Corp. (CSE: VRTX | OTC: VTECF | FRA: AA3)
("
Vortex” or the "
Company") is
pleased to announce that it has selected DGI Geoscience Inc.
(“
DGI”) as the wireline survey contractor for the
fully-permitted exploration program at the Company’s flagship
property, the Robinsons River Salt Project (the
“
Property”). DGI was chosen by Vortex’s consultant
partner, RESPEC Consulting Inc. (“
RESPEC”),
following a thorough and competitive analysis and qualification
process.
DGI specializes in acquiring cost-effective and
accurate in-situ borehole geophysical, televiewer, hydrogeological,
and directional survey data. DGI has served its clients, across
over 600 projects, on all 7 continents, working directly with
surface and underground mines and exploration companies, as well as
on civil and infrastructure projects, enabling data collection and
modeling for high-value drilling and evidence-based decisions. DGI
are experts in surveying holes drilled in any orientation, from
straight down to straight up, as well as assessing and containing
potential geotechnical hazards.
DGI will conduct surveys on the two drill holes
that will be drilled at the Property using a variety of equipment
and methodologies. Each drill hole will be surveyed twice. The
first drill hole will be surveyed up to 200 meters initially, and
then will be surveyed again once drilling on the hole is completed.
The second drill hole will be surveyed up to 300 meters initially,
and then will be surveyed again once drilling on the hole is
completed. The surveys are anticipated to commence in November,
2023.
Paul Sparkes, Chief Executive Officer,
commented, "We are pleased to have selected DGI as our wireline
survey contractor as we mobilize the drilling program at the
Property. DGI is a leader in wireline surveying and we look forward
to receiving the valuable data they will work to provide for the
Property.”
