Unilever said it will end the use of fossil fuels in its
cleaning and laundry products by 2030, switching to renewable or
recycled carbon for brands like Omo, Sunlight, Cif and
Domestos.
The move is part of the company's 1 billion euro ($1.19 billion)
Clean Future investment, which will focus on efforts like
low-carbon chemistry and biodegradable and water-efficient product
formulations. The Clean Future investment is in addition to the 1
billion euro Climate & Nature fund.
