Consumer goods giant Unilever PLC's (UN, ULVR.LN) exploration of
a sale of its North American peanut butter brand, Skippy, has
attracted the interest of ConAgra Foods Inc. (CAG) and B&G
Foods Inc. (BGS), among others, Bloomberg News reported Friday on
its website, citing three people familiar with the matter.
Pinnacle Foods Group LLC had shown interest, but not currently,
Bloomberg reported.
Unilever didn't respond to Bloomberg requests for comment.
Spokesmen for ConAgra and B&A declined comment to
Bloomberg.
