Evernham, wife of NASCAR Team Owner Ray Evernham, Introduces Eight
New Recipes to Mark New NASCAR Season DAYTONA, Fla., Feb. 23
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Somebody's cooking up a storm this NASCAR
season. Hot Rod Hot Wings, Racin'namon Buns and Spicy Speedway
Fries are just some of the new recipes debuting at the track at the
46th annual Daytona 500. This season, Mary Evernham, cookbook
contributor and wife of Ray Evernham, president and CEO of Evernham
Motorsports, is helping NASCAR fans fuel up with hearty meals
rather than high octane gasoline. Mary's "NASCAR Race Day Recipes"
are speedy, easy to make foods for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Mary
is no stranger to the kitchen, she is a recent contributor to the
NASCAR wives' cookbook, "FAST FOOD: Fueling the Guys in the NASCAR
Cup Garage." As the wife of a NASCAR pro and the mother of a
teenage boy, Evernham understands how important it is to fuel up
with wholesome dishes on race day. "Whether it's race day or final
exams at school -- it's important to be fueled up and satisfied
with a hearty meal," said Evernham. "These recipes are perfect to
bring to the track or to enjoy while you're watching the race at
home." The Racin'namon Buns, Victory Lane Country Bread, Motorsport
Muffins, and Sweet Can't Be Beat Rolls will jump start your
morning, while the Pit Stop Ham & Cheese Quesadillas, Spicy
Speedway Fries, Championship Chicken Fingers, and Hot Rod Hot Wings
are ideal for a NASCAR lunch or dinner. All the "NASCAR Race Day
Recipes" are original and include Shedd's Spread Country Crock(R)
Spread which has less fat and calories than butter, and no
cholesterol.(*) Shedd's Spread Country Crock(R) products are great
for spreading, topping and cooking, all the while providing
delicious Country Fresh Taste and great spreadability. In addition
to being quick and easy recipes for the racer or race fan, the
recipes can help a charity that is near and dear to Mary and her
husband Ray's hearts -- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The
Evernham's have been active fundraisers for The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society since their son was diagnosed with leukemia as a
child; today, Ray J is a leukemia survivor. As part of the program,
Country Crock is making a donation of 25,000 dollars to the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. About Evernham Motorsports
