SITEL Corporation (NYSE:SWW), a leading global provider of outsourced customer support services, announced today the signing of a multi-year agreement with PagesJaunes, (a subsidiary of France Telecom), the leader in printed and on-line directories in France, to support their directory inquiry functions. The 2-year agreement further underscores SITEL's leading service offering in the directory service industry, where it provides similar services to companies on four continents. The new contract began on April 3, 2006 and is expected to involve over 250 SITEL customer service professionals (CSPs) working from the SITEL contact center located in La Rochelle, France. The CSPs will provide directory assistance to an estimated 1 million telephone customers per month. Customers using PagesJaunes' 118 008 directory assistance telephone number will be calling to receive information on residential and commercial telephone numbers.
