Corporation (NYSE: PCX) today announced that Gerald R. Swanson, Jr. has been promoted to Vice
President – Engineering. In his new role, Swanson will report
to Gary W. Halstead, Vice President
– Engineering & Technical Services. Mr. Swanson has more
than 25 years of experience with the Company and has held various
leadership positions in Operations and in Engineering.
Reporting to Swanson will be Mitchell L.
Boland, Director – Engineering, Roger D. Graley, Director – Preparation,
Anthony P. Ritchie, Director –
Quality Control, Darrell J. Trent,
Director – Engineering Processes, and Phyllip G. Worley, Senior Manager – Ground
Control.
Swanson holds a Masters Degree in Strategic Leadership from
Mountain State University and a
Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University.
