McDermott International, Inc. (NYSE:MDR) ("McDermott" or the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors has elected new officers of the Company. James R. Easter, formerly Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of McDermott, was appointed Vice President - Corporate Development and Strategic Planning. In this newly created officer position, Jim Easter will lead McDermott's growth initiatives and planning process. Mr. Easter originally joined McDermott in 2002, and has served as Treasurer since August of that year. James C. Lewis was elected Vice President and Treasurer of McDermott, replacing Mr. Easter. Jim Lewis served the Company as Assistant Treasurer since July 2003, leading McDermott's corporate finance and recapitalization efforts. Liane K. Hinrichs was elected Corporate Secretary of the Company. Ms. Hinrichs also retains her responsibilities as Associate General Counsel, Corporate Compliance and Transactions. Liane Hinrichs has served in the Company's legal department since 1999. John E. Roueche, III was elected Vice President - Investor Relations & Corporate Communications. Jay Roueche has led McDermott's financial communication activities since September 2003. "We are very pleased to welcome these leaders to new and expanded roles with McDermott," said Bruce W.
