The largest program of its kind in the US, this Commercial and Industrial AMR initiative was undertaken in an effort to automatically collect load profile and billing data from over 6,000 of PPL's largest customers. The program utilized Comverge's Maingate(R) C&I gateway to transmit data over a 3G cellular network and was integrated with PPL's existing CIS and billing platforms through Comverge's PowerCAMP software suite. The system passed extensive testing, achieving a 99.8% nightly read rate and a 100% monthly read rate. "The Comverge solution is a key part of our revenue cycle process.
