On
October 2, 2008, NYSE Regulation, Inc. (“NYSE Regulation”) issued a press
release announcing its decision to suspend the common stock of Chesapeake
Corporation (the “Company”) from trading on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”)
prior to the market opening on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. The

less than $25 million, which is the minimum threshold for continued
listing.
As
indicated in the NYSE Regulation press release the Company expects to commence
trading on the OTC Bulletin Board on October 8, 2008. The Company
expects to confirm its arrangements for trading on the OTC bulletin Board and
the trading symbol for the Company’s stock prior to October 8,
2008.
