CLARCOR Inc. (NYSE: CLC) announced today that it has opened a new manufacturing, warehouse and technical center complex in Weifang, China. The new facility comprises seven buildings for manufacturing, an office building, a warehouse and a state-of-the-art filter technical center. Known as Baldwin-Weifang, the complex will manufacture heavy-duty air and liquid engine filters, sand control filters for off-shore oil drilling, melt blown filters, filters used during the manufacture of plastic and fiber resins, liquid process cartridge filters, and electrostatic and dust control filtration systems. The manufacturing and technical facilities will primarily be used to develop and manufacture filters products for sales in China and throughout Asia. CLARCOR is based in Franklin, Tennessee and is a diversified marketer and manufacturer of mobile, industrial and environmental filtration products and consumer and industrial packaging products sold in domestic and international markets.
