(WCBO) has named Cara L. Thompson
Senior Vice President and Corporate Compliance Manager. She will
oversee company-wide projects surrounding new regulatory
initiatives and ensure company compliance with laws and
regulations, including consumer protection laws, the Bank Secrecy
Act and the Community Reinvestment Act.
Thompson has 22 years of experience in compliance and
operations, as well as commercial and retail banking. She most
recently served as vice president and manager of central compliance
at Umpqua Bank. She also serves as director of the Historic
Preservation League of Oregon.
