Jones Indices will make the following changes to the S&P MidCap
400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices prior to the opening on
Wednesday, July 12:
- S&P SmallCap 600 constituent Knight Transportation Inc.
(NYSE:KNX) will replace Kate Spade
& Co. (NYSE:KATE) in the S&P MidCap 400, and SolarEdge
Technologies Inc. (NASD:SEDG) will replace Knight Transportation in
the S&P SmallCap 600. S&P 500 constituent Coach Inc.
(NYSE:COH) is acquiring Kate Spade
in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final closing
conditions.
- Core Laboratories N.V. (NYSE:CLB) will replace Panera Bread Co.
(NASD:PNRA) in the S&P MidCap 400. JAB Holdings B.V. is
acquiring Panera Bread in a deal expected to be completed soon
pending final closing conditions.
Knight Transportation operates as a short-to-medium haul
truckload carrier. Headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, the company will be added to the
S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard)
Trucking Sub-Industry index.
SolarEdge Technologies designs, develops, and sells direct
current (DC) optimized inverter systems. Headquartered in Herziliya
Pituach, Israel, the company will
be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Semiconductor Equipment
Sub-Industry index.
Core Laboratories provides reservoir description, production
enhancement, and reservoir management services. Headquartered in
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the
company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS Oil & Gas
Equipment & Services Sub-Industry index.
