Lieutenant Governor Launches New Notary Website

Utah Lieutenant Governor Spencer J. Cox is pleased to announce
the launch of a redesigned, user-friendly, notary public website.
The site features interactive resources such as; easy to access
notary information, learning tools and a “find a notary” search
engine. Notary.utah.gov is designed to assist people interested in
Utah notary information, becoming a Notary Public, or renewing
their commission.
Notaries Public are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor, and
serve the public as an impartial witness in relation to the signing
of important documents. There are over 20,000 current notaries
serving the public in the State of Utah, with over 6,000 new
notaries added each year. The site makes easily obtainable
information readily available to help notaries complete their
duties lawfully and with confidence.
