customers a more convenient way to make electronic payments to its
agency, it’s opening the door for citizens and businesses to pay
multiple government Idaho government entities with only one account
via eGovExpress offered by Access Idaho, an affiliate of NIC
Inc.
Serving as a virtual pocketbook, eGovExpress securely
consolidates Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, pre-paid
gift cards and electronic check information into one
password-protected online location, thus eliminating the need for
customers to juggle multiple accounts in various places and
repeatedly enter payment information.
In addition to faster checkouts, eGovExpress provides government
customers the ability to view their transaction history, create
custom notes through a dashboard, make mobile payments, update and
delete payment methods, and receive email notifications of expiring
accounts.
Government financial officers can access real-time transaction
reports from mobile devices as well as from any computer with
internet access, and the information never “expires.” All
transaction information is password-protected and transmitted via a
secure connection.

including agencies, counties, cities and school districts.
Government entities that partner with NIC Inc. in other states are
also eligible to implement the service.
The partnership between the Idaho Department of Agriculture and
Access Idaho operates under a self-funded model in which no tax
dollars or state funds were used to develop and none are necessary
to maintain the service.
In addition to eGovExpress, Access Idaho manages the state’s
official Web portal, Idaho.gov, and specializes in electronic
government applications.
eGovExpress meets Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards and
