Receives 17 Awards During 2013

Utah.Gov, the state’s official government website, recently received two prestigious awards, the Web Marketing Association’s MobileWebAward and International Academy of the Visual Arts’ (IAVA) Davey Award, bringing Utah.gov’s 2013 awards to a total of 17.

“Utah.Gov continues to set the standard for state websites,” said Gov. Gary R. Herbert. “Recognized by numerous industry organizations with more than 130 awards over the last seven years, Utah.Gov is one of the most honored state websites and that's something we can all be proud of.”

Utah.Gov finished 2013 by earning the two significant awards affirming its commitment to providing a superior online experience for the citizens of Utah. The State of Utah’s official website, Utah.Gov, was recognized by the Web Marketing Association with the MobileWebAward in the category for Best Mobile Government Website.

“We are committed to providing an excellent online portal for our citizens that can be accessed from desktops, mobiles, and tablets,” said Mark VanOrden, Utah Chief Information Officer. “We are especially proud to be recognized for our mobile strategy.”

Utah.Gov was also recognized by the International Academy of Visual Arts with a Gold Davey Award. The Davey Award is an international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work worldwide. Entries are judged to evaluate distinction in creative work.
