DELL Dell Inc. (MM)

Several large shareholders including BlackRock Inc. (BLK) and Vanguard Group Inc. voted in favor of a buyout of Dell Inc. (DELL) proposed by a group of investors and founder Michael Dell, but the proposal still lacks shareholder votes, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Other big investors such as State Street Corp, Bank of New York Mellon Corp. and Invesco also voted in favor of the deal on Wednesday night, the eve of the shareholder meeting, the person said.
