DUBLIN, Ohio, Dec. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Applied Innovation Inc. (NASDAQ:AINN) today announced the appointment of Julie A. Fratianne as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective December 19, 2005. Ms. Fratianne has more than twenty years of experience in finance with progressively increased responsibilities. Prior to joining Applied Innovation, Ms. Fratianne served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Kahiki Foods, Inc., a manufacturer of frozen food products marketed to large grocery stores, club stores and food service operations. From 1987 to 2003, she held various financial management positions with Metatec, Inc., a manufacturer of CD ROMs (now known as Inoveris, LLC). Her responsibilities included Vice President, Finance and Administration, from October 1998 to December 2003; and Vice President, Finance, Secretary and Treasurer from May 1997 to October 1998. From 1984-1987, she held financial positions at Red Roof Inns. Ms. Fratianne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy from Miami University.
