Trading Update
XCounter AB (AIM: XCT) ("XCounter" or the "Company"), a
technology leader in the development of photon counting X-ray
detectors and tomosynthesis based 3D medical imaging, announces a
trading update for the 6 months to 30 June 2011 in advance of its
Interim Results which are scheduled to be announced at the end of
September 2011.
-- Net sales rose 61.3% to SEK 25.9m (GBP2.5m) (H1 2010: SEK
16.3m (GBP1.6m))
-- Group loss before tax reduced 55.7% to SEK 8.1m (GBP0.8m) (H1
2010: SEK 18.2m (GBP1.8m))
-- Group loss reduced 51.2% to SEK 8.4m (GBP0.8m) (H1 2010: SEK
17.3m (GBP1.7m))
-- Current confirmed customer orders for deliveries before end
2011 represent SEK 25.7 million (GBP2.5m), an increase of 85.2% on
the comparable prior year figure
-- On 29 June 2011, XCounter announced an exclusive, worldwide
agreement for the development and supply of photon counting digital
X-ray detector technologies with a leading healthcare imaging
company. Depending on the success of the project, the deal has an
aggregate value of up to EUR50m over the next nine years
The financial statements are being prepared under the assumption
of going concern.
