          Replacement Statement in response to share price movement

The following statement is a correction of one previously issued this
afternoon by World Travel Holdings plc. The previous announcement (Number
7921A) contained a number of extra words. The asterisks contained in this
statement indicate where these words have been deleted:

"The board of World Travel Holdings plc ("the Company") has noted the *
movement in the Company's share price today. The Company confirms that it
knows of no specific reason for such a fall.

The Company's express aim is to be trading profitably before goodwill
amortisation by April 2002. The Company is in the course of finalising its
announcement of results for the year ended 31 December 2000. * The results are
expected to be announced next week and are expected to show further evidence
that the Board's plans to reach a profit are on track.*

World Travel Holdings is also continually assessing acquisition opportunities,
which would accelerate the Company's path to profitability. To that end, the
Company is currently in negotiations for an acquisition (largely for shares)
of a private company operating in the same sector, which may or may not lead
to an acquisition being concluded in the near future.

Further announcements will be made at the earliest practicable opportunity."
