WORLD TRAVEL HOLDINGS plc ("the Company")

Board change

Mr Clive Dolman has resigned as a director of the Company.  Mr Dolman was
Chief Executive of Deckchair.com Holdings Limited when it was acquired by the
Company in May this year.  He agreed to stay on for a period of six months to
oversee the merger of operations into those of the Company and its
subsidiaries ("the Group").  That task has now been accomplished and the Board
thanks him for his services.

The level of trading in the Group's various travel businesses since 11
September 2001 continues to fluctuate significantly day to day.  Overall,
however, a broad trend is emerging showing levels of activity and margin ahead
of the Group's revised expectations and recovering to levels which will
support the Group's projected cost base.  The Board will continue to keep
shareholders advised of developments and the Board's trading and funding
plans.
