                                Board changes

The announcement of interim results to 30 June 2001 indicated that the Board
was working to align costs to possible revenue levels.

As a result, the Board announces that it yesterday accepted with regret the
resignations as directors of Jonathan Biles, Derek McMaster and Ashok Patel
with immediate effect.  Jonathan Biles and Derek McMaster have also ceased
their executive responsibilities at the same time. The Board is grateful for
the significant input each of them has had to the Group's development in the
past.

In addition, Mr Ray Dyer has resigned from the Board and retired from his
executive duties following a period of ill health.  The Board is also grateful
for his contribution to the business in the past.

It has been agreed with these directors that no compensation will be payable
in respect of their resignations.

The executive functions of these directors will be taken on by other directors
and members of the Group's staff.

Commenting on the changes, John Biles, Executive Chairman of World Travel
Holdings plc said:

"I am grateful to these colleagues for agreeing to leave the Group in the
interests of reducing costs and for waiving their contractual entitlements in
the interests of the company.  These changes are regrettable but demonstrate
our commitment to successfully facing a less certain future.  The Board is
continuing to review revenue expectations and the already reduced cost base.
The intra-European travel business has not been substantially impacted and,
already, there are signs of an initial recovery in the transatlantic travel
market.  It is the stable level to which these will recover which will be the
key to success in the future."
