                                  New Contract

AIM listed support services group The Wigmore Group plc is pleased to announce
that Speymill Contracts Limited, the Group's Leisure and Hotel Division, has
been awarded a contract in excess of #1.1 million by JD Wetherspoon Plc.

Work is scheduled to start in early September at 'The Kings Head Inn', Bridge
Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire. Work includes the refurbishment of existing Public
House and associated 35 bedroom lodge. The contract is scheduled to start in
early September and last 20 weeks.
