Artisan (UK) plc announces that it has sold the remaining Ordinary shares of 1p
each held in The Wigmore Group plc. Artisan (UK) plc now holds nil Ordinary
shares in The Wigmore Group plc.

The realisation is slightly in excess of the carrying value in the last
published balance sheet of Artisan (UK) plc as at 31 March 2003.

Artisan (UK) plc continues to hold #600,000 in convertible loan notes issued by
The Wigmore Group plc.
