 UTV Motion Pictures (Mauritius) Limited signs two-movie deal with Shahid Kapur

UTV Motion Pictures Plc today announces that its subsidiary company UTV Motion
Pictures (Mauritius) Limited has signed a two-film deal with leading Indian film
star, Shahid Kapur. The first of these films shall tentatively commence shooting
before 31st March 2008, and shall be completed by November 2008.

Mr. Kapur has agreed to be the lead actor in two feature films to be produced by
UTV, with subjects and directors to be mutually agreed upon by UTV and Shahid
Kapur. Mr. Kapur shall also give UTV priority in with regards to the shooting
schedule of these two contracted films.

It is envisaged that the first film will begin shooting before March 2008 and
will be completed by November 2008 and that the second film will begin shooting
before March 2009 and will be completed by November 2009. The timings of the
films are subject to change on agreement by both parties.

Shahid Kapur is the son of the actor Pankaj Kapur, is one of India's rising
young actors and has already received many accolades for his refreshing debut
performance in Ken Ghosh's 'Ishq Vishq' (2003). Since then he has gained a
growing fan base particularly among the Indian youth and has box office hits to
his name like '36 China Town' (2006) and 'Vivah' (2006). 'Vivah' was his first
hit film as the solo lead. He is currently shooting a film with Kareena Kapoor
being directed by Imtiaz Ali.
