Announcement of Scrip Dividend Reference Price

On 22 August 2013, the Company announced a first interim dividend in respect of the year ending 31 December 2013 of 1.80p per ordinary share (the "First Interim Dividend"), payable on 5 November 2013 to shareholders on the register as at close of business on 6 September 2013 (the "Record Date").

The Company operates a scrip dividend scheme which allows qualifying shareholders to receive dividends in new ordinary shares instead of cash (the "Scheme"). The detailed terms of the Scheme in respect of the First Interim Dividend are set out in a circular to shareholders that will be despatched shortly.

In relation to the First Interim Dividend, the reference price of a share under the Scheme has been set at 168.00p. This is the average of the closing middle market price as derived from the Daily Official List for the Company's ordinary shares for the five consecutive dealing dates commencing on the ex-dividend date of 4 September 2013. Accordingly, a shareholder electing for the scrip dividend option rather than cash would receive one ordinary share for every 93.3333 ordinary shares registered in their name on the Record Date in respect of which they have elected for the scrip dividend option.

All elections for the scrip dividend option must be received by the Company's registrar by no later than 5.00 p.m. on 10 October 2013.
