The Board of United Carriers announces that Mr. John Toyne has relinquished
his position as a director and as Managing Director of the Group to pursue a
long held ambition to develop a literary career.  The Board wishes him well in
his future pursuits.

For the time being, Mr. Doug Rogers will assume Mr. Toyne's responsibilities
in addition to his existing responsibilities as Chairman of the Group.
